ANNA MATHIAS
Anna began studying the cello at only 5 years old. She attended Charleston County School of the Arts where she studied music and was the principal cellist in the school’s symphony orchestra. During this time, she was also the principal cellist of the Youth Orchestra of the Lowcountry. Anna has performed in numerous ensembles and chamber music groups. She has also performed onstage with the Trans Siberian Orchestra and Michael Bublé. Anna graduated from University of South Carolina with a major in Public Relations and minor in Fashion Merchandising.
CLAIRE GOTTSHALK
Claire has always had a love for music, but she knew she wanted to become a violinist when she was only 4 years old. She began taking lessons at age 7. Claire graduated from Charleston County School of the Arts where she studied music and was the principle violinist in the school’s orchestra her senior year. Claire then continued on to attend the University of South Carolina. One of her biggest musical highlights was getting to perform onstage with Josh Groban.
